The Wolver-Minion

Here is a little guy I made for a fun little competition at www.cgmeetup.net . The idea was to put a spin on the minions from Despicable Me 2 and as you can see I dressed this guy up as The Wolverine. I'm always making creepy dark stuff so it was fun to try make something "cute".

Aliens! 2

Here is the shot I worked on. I worked on it off and on while studying over the last year or so. It's a bit of a mash up of past and present skills.

Here is a frame from a short I've been helping with. My original job was to design, model and rig some creatures but I was also asked to create this 10 second shot of these alien creatures running down a hall and firing their weapons. I'll post the video soon

Matte painting fun

Here are some matte paintings I had to create for a class assessment recently. The aim was to create a scene, then make two versions of the scene using different lighting. 

Zombie

Made this handsome fella early 2012. Learnt a lot and would do it all different second time around. Rendered this still for an art gallery exhibition my uni held in November. It's interesting looking back and comparing sculpting techniques I used then and use now.

First concept of a character for a short animation I'll hopefully start this year. I wanted him to appear friendly, strong but with a sense of humanity and to be likable. Pretty happy with overall look and feel so far.

Just testing out embedding a model I uploaded to SketchFab. He is a WIP. 3D modelers now have nowhere to hide!
